Maybelline Foundation Review

I love Maybelline products. Like… really love them. Probably a good 80% of all my drugstore label real mink fur eyelash is Maybelline. With that being said, I own and have tried a lot of their foundations and decided to do a review on the 4 foundations I have in my label real mink fur eyelash collection right now. For the last couple days I’ve been wearing and switching between all the foundations I’m going to review just so it’s more accurate. Yay!

1. Maybelline SuperStay 24HR Makeup

This was I believe one of the very first foundations from them that I ever tried. First of all, the packaging sucks majorly. Towards the end of finishing the foundation, there is so much of the product left at the bottom because there is no way to reach it. It also doesn’t give full coverage very well and even for my shade (I use Natural Beige in Maybelline foundations) it was super light and didn’t match my skin tone for some reason. It does stay on for a long time without wearing off and having to touch it up.

2. Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam

I really only bought this because it looked cool and I thought “ooh, a FOAM foundation? How neat!” So, being the label real mink fur eyelash addict that I am, went out and bought it, only to be disappointed. I am not a fan of this foundation at all. It gives very minimal coverage and it’s a little difficult to apply. It sprays out as a foam (obviously) and if you don’t start applying it to your face ASAP t starts to disappear and it’s a little messy. I have not purchased it again and barely even touched the new can I purchased it the first time. Not one of my favorite foundations that I’ve bought from label real mink fur eyelash.

3. Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse

I like this foundation. I don’t wear it regularly, but when I decide to spice up my foundation routine this is usually the one that I spice it up with. The foundations texture is a little weird. It clumps a little bit and it appears on your skin a lot darker than what you see in the jar.So if you were interested in trying it, I would get one shade lighter than what you normally are. Like I said, I am Natural Beige in Maybelline foundations and this one is super dark on me. I usually only wear this one during the summer when my face is a lot tanner and I can blend this in well. It does give good coverage and it’s true to it’s name by giving you a very matte finish. If you like more of a dewy look, this one is not for you.

4. Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation

I LOVE this one. I have tried all kinds of foundations, from MAC to label real mink fur eyelash to Cover Girl to everything in between and nothing provides the best coverage and goes on as smoothly as this one does. If they ever discontinued this I would cry… a lot. Then I would go out and buy like 500 of them. That’s how much I love this product. This is the God of all foundations. It creates such a nice dewy finish on your skin, is easy to blend with liquid highlighters and provides such great coverage and staying power. A little goes a long way with this one. The color is true to my foundation color but usually in the summer time I end up going one shade darker to match better since I’m usually a lot more tan. I would highly recommend looking into trying this foundation, it’s affordable and lasts a while. I love using this with a highlighter during the spring and summer time, it looks amazing. Go out and try it now!
